Karen loves her future daughter-in-law Jackie. Having two sons, it was time for a girl to join the family. Karen “showered” Jackie with love and an outstanding brunch she hosted at home. Karen was meticulous about the details. Jackie’s favorite candy is dark chocolate sea salt caramels. Karen ordered boxes of caramels for all the shower guests, the out of town family who couldn’t attend and her work colleagues who sent a gift “just because.” Each box of caramels included a little something extra, a chocolate J and A for Jackie and Alan. The boxes were tied with navy blue organza bows, to match the bridal party. No request is too small. Sometimes the small parties are more fun because it’s more intimate.
